Robin Hood is an upcoming film based on the Robin Hood legend, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe. It is due for release on May 14, 2010. The film began development in 2007 when Universal Studios acquired a script entitled Nottingham, depicting a heroic Sheriff of Nottingham to be played by Crowe. Scott's dissatisfaction with the script led him to delay filming, and during 2008 it was rewritten into a story about Robin Hood becoming an outlaw, with the position of being Sheriff as part of the story. Scott dropped the latter notion and Nottingham was retitled to reflect the more traditional angle. The trailer was shown in front of Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, Repo Men and Clash of the Titans.

i loved this movie it was extremely hilerious i almost peed my pants of how much i laughed if you're planning to see this movie bring an extra pair of pants i recommend it.Chuckie Chan's talent is wasted on this terrible slop of a movie. It is such a cliche, with the same three kids who hate the babysitter in the beginning and love him in the end.And why would a 25 year old woman with big breasts fall for Chan! Kill me now!

It's difficult to find a children's fantasy novel without "For fans of Harry Potter" (or the more threatening "Step aside, Potter") among the critic's notes on the back cover. Living in a post-Rowling generation is a double-edged sword for authors whose talent lies in spinning heroic tales with a heavy dose of mythology. The market for this particular genre is certainly larger than before, but the bar is set high at Harry Potter, and he killed Voldemort.
